Adult Learning and Skills is always looking for new partners. Currently we are seeking partners who are interested in developing traineeships and/or work placements. Please see below for more information about this.

Traineeships – For Employers
Could your department provide a work placement to a young person on a Traineeship?  We are looking for local employers who can offer real life work experience placements to support Trainee during their training programme to help them unlock their potential, prepare them for their future career by helping them to become ‘work ready’.

Traineeships – For Trainees
Could you be ready to do a Traineeship?
A Traineeship offers you the opportunity to gain:
• Real work experience
• Job Skills
• English and maths skills if needed

If you are:
• Motivated to work
• Unemployed, or work fewer than 16 hours per week and
• Have little work experience and are
• Aged between 16 and 24 and qualified below Level 3 or
• Aged up to 25 with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan
