Move on UP

If you have a learning difficulty or disability we will provide the support you need to ensure that you progress towards your own learning and skills goals.

Our Move on Up programme offers you a tailored path to help you develop your skills to work towards your individual hopes and dreams.  We work together to create your Aspiration Tree and build your Vocational Profile that will form the basis of your learning with us towards becoming more independent with life and work skills.

In addition to developing independence skills, we offer a Creative Skills programme around the County that gives you the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and learn something new.

Some of our courses lead to accreditation, some offer the opportunity to develop work skills, some offer support with maths and English.  Whatever path you choose, your learning will be planned with you to help you fulfil your aspirations.

How much will I have to pay?

We may be able to help with the fees we charge on some courses, particularly if you are unemployed, in receipt of benefits and are enrolling on a course to help you find employment.

Maths and English qualifications are always free of charge if you are assessed as having a need for the qualification.

Some of our courses and qualifications, such as IT or work skills may have a charge applied if you are employed.

Use our Course Search to find our current courses running in your local area or call 01223 703530 or email
